The experience with the management team at X Factor Accelerator was of particular importance for the growth of the startup. Not only did we move the idea forward, but we also made lasting friendships and extended networks that will continue to grow in the future.
The mission of the X Factor Accelerator is to foster regional entrepreneurship and give a strong impulse to stir up the startup scene outside the capital city of Skopje.
This is achieved through "smart investments" in innovative start-up businesses, which provides not only financial but also mentoring support for global growth.
X Factor Accelerator from Veles is the first business accelerator outside of Skopje, which was founded by investors with extensive practical experience in creating, managing and supporting the development of successful startup businesses.
The project launch in 2018, is realized with the support of the Fund for Innovation and Technology Development (FITD) of RNM, in cooperation with the World Bank, through the support instrument - co-financed grants for the establishment, operation and investments of business - technological accelerators.
Our team is comprised of experienced practitioners who have started and successfully managed their own businesses. Together with a network of mentors from partner organizations, they provide continued strategic support for the growth of the startups.
The decision to select in which startups to fund is made through a process consisting of the following steps:
